This anonymously submitted shot captured our attention because it’s so full of history. Saint Lucia’s sugar-cane days are almost forgotten, but the apparatus remains. Dotted around the island you can find a few waterwheels like this one, still standing long dry streambeds where a diverted river no longer runs.
And in keeping with the mystery surrounding anonymous submissions, let’s turn this into a guessing game. Does anyone know where this beautiful shot was taken? Leave your guesses in the comments below!
